Terms of Business
Bye Bye House will give you an indication of the offer we will likely offer in principle. This is based on the current market value.
Should this be agreeable to you we will then review your property in detail and in some cases, we will arrange two local valuations from local estate agents – at no cost to you.
We will then make you a formal offer and put this in writing to you.
In some cases, we will arrange to meet you at your property – this will be primarily to confirm your identity and copies will be taken for regulatory purposes.
You must take independent legal advice.
You can use your own solicitor and we will contribute £500 plus VAT towards the cost or we can recommend a solicitor to you.
If you use a solicitor recommended by us you will pay no fees and are under no obligation to proceed until exchange of contracts.
You will be sent a pack from your solicitor to complete which asks for basic information about you and your property – we would ask that this is completed promptly and returned.
We will instruct a survey to be carried out by a RICS registered surveyor and your offer will then be re-confirmed.
Once the solicitor has reported to us and you have signed your contract to sell we will be in touch to arrange a completion date – when monies are sent across to you and we can arrange to collect keys.
You can pull out at any time– until you have legally exchanged contracts – with absolutely no cost to you.
Bye Bye House LTD if found liable for any action, our liability is limited to the sum of £10. This limitation however may not apply if we have been negligent in causing personal injury of death
